What we collect
Workprint is a small post-production studio. We do not run advertising or sell data. We collect only what we need to do the work and answer email: namely, the information you give us directly when you contact us, send us briefs, share files for review, or apply to work with us.
Messages sent through the contact form are stored on our server, emailed to the team, and may be added to our own contact list so we can reply and follow up.
How we use it
Your information is used to respond to your inquiry, deliver the work, send invoices, and stay in touch about ongoing projects. We do not share it with third parties for marketing. We may share it with the small number of vendors we use to operate the business (accounting, hosting, email) under the terms of their own privacy policies.
Cookies & analytics
The site keeps a simple first-party count of page views on our own server so we can see which pages people visit. For each page view it records the page address (without any query string), the website you came from (the site name only), your browser's user-agent string, any campaign tag in the link (for example utm_source or utm_campaign), and the time.
It does not use cookies or any identifier to recognize you, does not store your IP address, does not look up your location or the company or network you are browsing from, and does not share your browsing with our contact list or anyone else. We do not use third-party analytics or advertising trackers, and we do not sell or share analytics data.
To protect the contact form and sign-in from abuse, your IP address is briefly used to limit how many requests can be sent. It is kept only as a one-way coded value, never as the address itself, and is deleted automatically once it is no longer needed, normally within two days. Our hosting and network providers may set their own strictly necessary security cookies.
Browsers can send a Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signal. The page-view count above works the same way whether or not a signal is sent, because it does not identify you or follow you across other websites.
Before September 2026, an earlier version of the site also recorded an approximate location, network or company name and a coded form of the IP address with each page view, and set a visitor cookie that linked browsing on this site to our contact list. That has stopped. Records collected under that earlier setup are still held while we review and reduce them. Emails we send may use link and open tracking provided by our email system; we are moving those emails to campaign-level link tags that do not identify you.
File uploads & shared media
Materials sent to us as part of a project (cuts, footage, briefs, comments) are kept on the services we use to run those projects (cloud storage, review tools, edit systems). Access is restricted to the team working on your project. When the project closes we follow the retention schedule agreed in the SOW.
Your choices
You can ask us what we have, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email [email protected] and we'll get back to you within a reasonable window.
Children
The site is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their information.
Changes
If we update this policy in a meaningful way, we'll change the date at the top of the page. For minor edits, we won't.
